About BIG Paintball:
If you appreciate the genre of deck building board and video games, but find yourself growing tired of ‘ideal builds’ or the management/constant shuffling of said genre, this game is for you. If you appreciate inventory management and making choices on what to keep or toss, look no further. The best way I can describe this lovely game is a randomly generated dungeon filled with a choose-your-own-adventure elements tossed in here and there. The ‘dungeon‘ is a series of pre-determined but randomly assigned rooms that you will be attempting to survive. There is no ‘deck’ for your character, just equipment slots for you to manage as you obtain gear. The gear provides you stats and mini-bonuses that CAN all stack/interact with one another to allow fun, unique opportunities that occur frequently enough to make you feel really cool, but not often enough that they become standard in a run and therefore predictable and boring. While all of the titled ‘rooms’ are pre-determined with bad guy types and relative strengths, their positions are randomized and there are enough monsters and things that move and switch assignments enough to make each run feel like a small, unique puzzle to resolve each time you go through.
