About Clicker Madness:
Even though I quit playing it, I can and do recommend it. Reason I quit is because it slowed down too much for me after the first half a dozen world shards or so. With no real obvious way of getting it to speed up again. All idlers/incremental titles stack multiple systems of growth on top of each other, to ensure near limitless progress, but it feels like this title could do with a bit more balancing/polish to find the exact sweet spot as far as how the various systems of growth click together. Still, give it a shot. Regardless of maybe needing some balance polish, it is quite well made. I really wanted to like this game, and first impression was pretty good, but after playing for a few days it feels like it has a few core problems: While technically still in development, a lot of key things feel unbalanced. There’s an expansive skill tree, yet only a handful of actual viable builds. If you aren’t spending $10-20 in the cash shop it’s going to take 2 weeks to buy the lone permanent upgrade worth buying. At the end of the day it’s just missing that “fun” factor for me. While any idle/clicker game involves some grind and passive management, partly stemming from the skill tree leading tojust a few builds and issues with the weapon balance, there are just very few “That was great!” moments. I think this hit home particularly after moving to the 2nd shard. You really only keep your weapons, and most of your weapons are junk, and because you’re starting over from scratch, I couldn’t even use the weapons I was using at the end of the first shard because they were too expensive. If there were more of a fun factor, that starting over might be great,
