About One Piece Millennium 3:
Possibly the best DLC for this game. Kin’emon is one of the “technical” that actually relies on being technical (placing fires, trying to get 4+ to get a giant pire, detonating those at the right time to get a pretty nice damage on top of your attack). Oden is overpowered on top of having an armour break on his light+heavy that is easy to pull off. His main downside is that he is a bit boring to play since all of his combos are a bit similar (and potent). Okiku is a “speed” character that can become pretty overpowered but more importantly she is fun to play as her combos flow together pretty well. Whe has access to an armour break when in her boosted status and a few ice-based attacks to freeze enemies. Okiku quickly became my favourite character to play as, probably because I wanted a character with varied combos, able to duel and crowd control well and not giant. The gameplay of One Shot, while unique, leaves much to be desired. The game’s main mechanic centers around a building system where items found throughout the world are combined to solve puzzles. These puzzles are not difficult, assuming the player explores the world thoroughly. However, these puzzles are the only form of gameplay. If puzzle games are not for you, you may find this game a slog. But if you are willing to give it just one shot, I promise their charming puzzles will leave an impact. Games have the unique ability to tell their audience a story while allowing them to be intimately involved in its creation. One Shot is no exception. It is a star example of how gaming can be used to create stories more vivid and engaging than any other form of story telling. The game mainly plays on the empathy of its players, allowing them to relate to its characters and form bonds with the world. This play on empathy is further complemented with its impressive ability to construct a world that is interesting and engaging. If you are looking for a game with a story that leaves you with an unforgettable experience, look no further.
