The Last Days of Sodom This story has no beginning and no end. In the past a race of Angels, on a distant world had reached the limit of their development, they had exhausted the natural resources of their planet and had faced stagnation and decline. With their eventual decline before them they built the ship known as the Sky Citadel, a mobile space city in which they could travel across the sea of stars to find new worlds, which they could exploit and dominate, enslaving any existing populations they might find. They’re either lonely, they’re missing somebody, they’re depressed, they’re hurt, they’re scarred from the past, they’re having personal issues no one knows about, they have secrets nobody would’ve believed. Or everything that. Combined together. One could say it’s just a narrative, dialogues of two fictional characters that someone wrote from the beginning to the very end, but that only makes it better. That they made them look so real. I was intrigued by this storyline. The fact I had to start it a second time to get different answers or outcomes makes the replayability alone worth it. Even though the game in the first playthrough is short, new opportunities open up when you replay it. From what I’ve read, some people have finished three to four times to get the full conclusion of Oxenfree. Alex also has a radio on her. This helps her with radiofrequency throughout her adventures. Random radio stations will pop up, white noise, random noises, or maybe a discussion or two. This helps build up the atmosphere as you traverse and collect your findings.
